When trying to ssh to a specific server, I faced the below ssh broker error and could not connect by SSH.

When connecting to other servers, the ssh connection can be connected without error.

Please help for this problem.

the error is:

ssh HOST_A
Request exec channel error: Unable to connect to Broker.

ssh client info: solaris 8 SSH TECTIA 6

ssh server info: solaris 9 Open SSH

There is a ssh-broker process as follows during the ssh connection

00:00:00 /opt/SSHtectia/libexec/ssh-broker-cli --slave --run-on-demand --check-accession --no-gui

A couple of questions to try and troubleshoot this (Can you update your question above with answers to these):

Can you verify that the server is indeed running by executing something like:

telnet HOST_A 22

Are you able to connect to this server from other clients?

Do you see anything useful regarding the failure if connecting using verbose mode?

ssh -v HOST_A

Does it work if you kill the existing broker process and try again?

thanks for your support.

yes. form other client ssh connection is working fine. from only one client cannot connect by ssh. please find the command results.

$ telnet HOST_A 22 Trying 222.222.222.xxx... Connected to HOST_A(222.222.222.xxx). Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host.

$ ssh -vvv HOST_A Disconnect reason code: 0 (remote disconnect) Disconnect description: Server authentication failed: User authentications completed: none Server identity: key information not available. Request exec channel error: Unable to connect to Broker.

the broker process is running only during trying ssh session. after the trying, broker process is not running.
