We are installing the new purchase software - TECTIA Server SSH version 6.1.9.95 on a Windows 2003 Enterprise edition 64-bit server on Dell R910. We download the source from downloads.ssh.com and install it on the Windows server which has only Operation System without other software. After TECTIA Server SSH install complete, we reboot the Windows server. The server can startup but it cannot enter to Windows desktop properly again ( it can't reach to logon screen ). On screen, there is a box prompted that "lsass.exe - Operation Failed", The requested operation was unsuccessful. Then, the server is corrupted. Apprepicate if any body has faced this problem and can help on this case. |
Yes 6.1.9 is indeed supported on Windows 2003 Server 64-bit, but no this is not something we have seen. I would recommend to contact us directly and enter a support case for this to better assist you. Please include whether the windows server is in a domain or not. Also please mention if the Windows server had the latest patches from Windows update. Thanks for Roman 's feedback. The windows server is just freshly installed and with SP2. It does not join any domain. We just newly build it up and then install the Tectia Server SSH. We have tried serveral times to setup it but still same problem. We have tried to log a support case, however, we don't have any login account to logon Tectia Support Site ! By the way, we have purchased the software maintanence when buy this software license from local distributor. Do you know what level of support can Tectia to provide to us ? Hello. You should have received credentials for our support site from your local distributor. Can you contact them to retrieve the credentials? You can also request this from one of our regional sales offices: http://www.tectia.com/en/Company/Contacts/Tectia_Regional_Sales.iw3 If contacting our regional office, please remember to submit an invoice number together with your request. |
