I want to do configuration in Tectia for Windows to receive files from Unix server. I have the public key generated in Unix. Can you please tell me the steps involved in the configuration.

So if I understand this correctly you have Tectia Client running on a Windows server and you want to run scp on this host to fetch files from the Unix server without interaction. Is this right?

You could probably copy the private key from the Unix server to the client and use that but it's easier (and safer) to generate a new public-key pair on the client and upload the public key to the server.

If you're running Tectia Client 6.1.0 or newer, you can do it like this: http://answers.tectia.com/questions/8/how-do-i-setup-public-key-authentication-with-tectia

That should work regardless of what version of SSH the server is running.

If running and older version of Tectia Client, you can still use the upload public key functionality from the Tectia Configurator, however it will only upload keys to Tectia Servers.
