Tectia MFT Events 6.3.9 contains the following improvements:

New Features:

  • Updated the certificate used for signing the Windows packages. Note that the new certificate uses SHA-2 to verify its signature. Microsoft XP with Service Pack 2 does not support SHA-2 and therefore cannot guarantee the integrity of the certificate (KB968730). For Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 2, to validate the certificate, apply the hotfix to KB968730.

Bug Fixes:

  • MFT Events engine no longer crashes when the maximum number of concurrent events is exceeded.

  • MFT Events GUI Reload no longer fails to work when the SMTP server is changed.

  • It is no longer possible to create a template event when no templates are available.

  • Enabling and disabling more than one event at a time no longer causes the contents of the events to be deleted.

  • Manipulating an event that contains a template action no longer causes the contents of the manipulated event to be deleted.

  • The "Enable variable expansion" field is no longer automatically checked when opening the Template Action dialog in an event.

  • The contents of an event with a template action will no longer be deleted when the event is edited and saved without changes or when clicking "Cancel" in an already saved event.

  • Fixed a problem with the state of the triggers that occurred when manipulating events.

  • MFT Events Engine no longer crashes when attempting to trigger an event after reloading a new configuration file.

  • MFT Events GUI no longer crashes when switching to Log view while the engine is stopped.

  • Adding a copy of an existing event ("Copy as New") no longer fails to work.

  • Fixed a problem that occurred when updating or deleting an event using a very large configuration file. It is no longer possible to rename an event.
