Tectia Client/Server, Server for IBM z/OS, ConnectSecure 6.3.7 are maintenance releases introducing the following improvements and bug fixes:

Tectia Client and ConnectSecure:

  • Windows: Enabled compatibility against third-party, non-standard implementations of GSSAPI authentication.

Tectia Server:

  • Windows: Fixed a crash that occurred when GSSAPI was used.

  • AIX, HPUX: If a connection is disconnected because the authentication failed, Tectia SSH Server will now report one failure. This concerns only PAM, LAM and/or public-key authentication. The behavior has not changed when using password or keyboard interactive with password sub-method: Tectia SSH Server reports one failure per failed password.

  • All Platforms: Improved the performance in accepting large number of simultaneous new connections.

Tectia Server for IBM z/OS:

  • Documentation: Added an additional step in the zFS mounting instructions for formatting the zFS file system prior to mounting it.

For further information about the products and changes between the different versions, and instructions on how to update the product, see the customer documentation and release notes at SSH product documentation web page.
